The South Side Irish Parade kept tradition Sunday on Western Avenue in Beverly, but weather may have limited spectatoors as organizers estimated the crowd at 75,000, lower than in pre-pandemic times.
“God’s smiling on the South Side for this great coming out party,” Sen. Dick Durbin told reporters near the start of the parade route.
