Maguindanao launches anti-violent extremism plan

FEAR, intercultural clashes, conflict and destruction some of the issues that violent extremism fosters and aggravates, and in the Province of Maguindanao, this is no different.
For UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moons Plan of Action to Prevent Violent Extremism, he encouraged member states to consider developing a national plan of action to prevent violent extremism, further setting national priorities for addressing the local drivers of violent extremism.
This then paved the way for the Department of the Interior and Local Government to launch a nationwide campaign and created the Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Program Management Office last June, 2018. ....
