than 150,000 supporters of the beautiful and bald barbie facebook page. and it seems that mattel is finally hearing all these pleas. announcing that like the makers of bratz and moxie dolls, they, too, will manufacture a bald doll. for little girls like isabel, fighting cancer is one battle. and losing her hair is another. i don t have any bald barbies. reporter: that s why a group of moms launched a facebook campaign to encourage mattel to make a bald barbie doll. you don t have to be ashamed of who you are, whether you have hair or not. reporter: three months after this site was launched, mattel has decided barbie will have a new bald friend. they are following the makers of the possible bratz dolls who originally announced it would make a bald doll when it looked like mattel wouldn t. they gave abc news an exclusive
