Organisers upset to cancel Weaverham Rose Fete for second time
WEAVERHAM Rose Fete has been cancelled for the second year running due to Covid. Organisers have made the decision with a heavy heart but say that safety of residents must come first. Barbara Eames, chairman of Weaverham Rose Fete, who runs the event with Pam Palsreyman, said: "We would like to apologise for the lack of a fete again this year due to Covid restrictions.
