Try teaching students kindness, beware free stuff
News-Journal readers Try a little kindness In response to the recent letter “Naughts and Prayers:” How about, when putting thoughts and prayers to God back into our schools, our future generations of leaders and followers learn about goodness and mercy, how to be tolerant to those of different races and religions; how to be less aggressive and more kind? This might even change the mindset of their elders. Perhaps it's worth trying as all else is failing. Maybe we should all be more trusting and positive and less cynical and negative.
