Waiting for the Train seeks passenger rail in Morganton
For a while, passenger rail service may have seemed like a thing of the past for Western North Carolina. Now, though, a group of Burke County residents is hoping the train's whistle will again blow in Morganton, signaling the arrival and departure of eager visitors from around the state and country.
