Manchester Barbecue Pellets opens new manufacturing facility
Manchester Barbecue Pellets, which produces premium-quality hardwood pellets for grills, is opening a new manufacturing facility at 46 Apel Place. The Connecticut Cooperative Farmers Association was located in the brick building for 78 years before it closed in 2016. Manchester Barbecue Pellets purchased the former animal feed mill building in 2019 and has upgraded it with funding through the Connecticut Innovations Angel Investor Tax Credit Program.
