Heather Lyn Greenman, 37, was arrested on June 29 and charged with first-degree murder, child abuse and child abuse resulting in death for a 15-month-old in her care, police said.
Officers found a second child who had suffered from several "serious injuries" while in the babysitter's care and believe there are more.
The woman was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder, willful harm and assault resulting in death.
The babysitter, 37-year-old Heather Greenman of Riverside, allegedly told authorities the 15-month-old child fell while running. The toddler suffered a head injury and died at the hospital.
