The struggling Surrey housebuilder confirmed it had turned down the offers because it is 'confident' in its future as a standalone company.
Barratt Developments and Redrow shareholders have approved an all-share offer for the combination of Barratt and Redrow in a deal that values the latter at £2.52bn. The combined group would have a total land pipeline of more than 92,000 plots.
Shareholders of both Barratt Developments and Redrow have voted almost unanimously in favour of the takeover deal announced in February.
