Federal Court of Australia Ruled in Favor of Former Jewish Students Who Claimed College Made Number of Violations of Racial Discrimination Act of 1975 MELBOURNE, Australia, Sept. 16, 2023 /PRNewswire/ TheLawfare Project (LP) announced a major victory with the ruling of the Federal Court of Australia siding with all five Jewish students against the Brighton Secondary College in Melbourne in the Australian State of Victoria. LP provided financial support for the lawsuit and has worked with the students and their local counsel to bring about this victory. The students asserted that they were subjected to a significant number of violations of Australia's Racial Discrimination Act 1975 between 2013 and 2020. All but one student, who left the country for personal reasons, were forced to leave the school due to fears for their safety.
