Dalton man jailed for rape, kidnap, and assault by penetration
A MAN from Dalton in Furness has been sentenced to seven years and six months in prison at Preston Crown Court for kidnap, rape, and sexual assault by penetration. Howard Rowley, aged 24, of Devoke Water Gardens, Dalton was found guilty on all three counts of kidnap, rape and assault by penetration on Friday June 4, 2021 following a four day trial at Preston Nightingale court. Rowley will also be required to sign on to the sexual offenders register. The female victim cannot be named as she has a lifetime legal right to anonymity.
