Barry Kirsopp, 29, was ordered to carry out 190 hours of unpaid work as a direct alternative to custody in October 2019. He had admitted offences of police assault, obstructing police, theft by housebreaking, vandalism and two counts of threatening or abusive behaviour in Kelso and Galashiels.
