Who are you portraying out here . They were known as the irish volunteers. They were from charleston, south carolina. The project is so special to us, we thought it would be good to honor a unit that actually camped here in the charleston area. We really like to sit in. We kind of put two and two together for us. They were a militia unit from 1787 andeston issue, actually remained active until the spanishamerican war. They were upperclass gentleman from the charleston area.
