COVID-19 Rate Drops - Lafayette Parish Bars Serve Alcohol Indoors

According to the above report, the last two weeks of data show a COVID-19 positivity rate in Lafayette Parish of 4.5% and 3.8%, respectively. Per Governor Edwards' COVID-19 order, any parish in the state that had a positivity rate over 5% would be required to halt indoor consumption of alcohol at bars. That is where Louisiana has been for the past few months, above the 5% positivity rate. Now, bars in the parish will once again be able to serve their customers alcohol inside.
