Oxnard mother fatally stabbed in domestic violence event, police say
View Comments An Oxnard woman was stabbed to death Friday night in what police are calling a domestic violence homicide. The incident unfolded around 9:55 p.m. at a home on the 1100 block of West Hemlock Street, the Oxnard Police Department reported. The site is in the Bartolo Square North neighborhood, generally southeast of Wooley and Ventura roads. Officers found Karla Novela Cabrera, 27, inside the house with multiple stab wounds, mostly in the upper torso, Cmdr. Luis McArthur said.
