New classrooms built and teachers trained to help bring schools up to standard
This new school was built in the village of Lavié Péniel in October 2022, thanks to the World Bank-financed Basic Education Quality and Equity Improvement
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): The Australian government has extended support for the Basic Education Quality and Access in Laos programme (BEQUAL) Phase 2, with funding of A$28 million to be provided over four years from 2022-2026.
