Customers who choose the city’s Community Choice Electricity program as their supplier will see lower rates, according to Mayor Michelle Wu. The rates went into effect November 2021 and run through December 2023. The program’s rates are lower than those of Eversource, the local utility provider, for “at least six months,” according to the Wu administration.
