And Trump had a couple of things to say about this always he said the awards show yes President Donald Trump said the awards show was so focused on politics that they couldn't get their act together that's what I all being with you know just kind of because I read some of the jokes that Jimmy Kimmel made were really funny like like that's like my favorite part about the Oscars like listening to like the banter from the host and I just find it funny that Trump like had to go and stick his $0.02 in like they go of course that's the reason why I get that. No he wasn't it was in an interview I believe on Monday with Breitbart News. For a start. I so do you guys do you guys think this is really the key magic going up there and for a while and I won the Best award of all the whole most Well if your industry and then just getting like the thing is everyone expected la la land to win like La La Land was like the most anticipated like. Between relief money yeah and people really just thought that that was going to win so it was like how the quote unquote win then like not actually be like what one was I think interesting just because presidents I've heard a lot of good things about like moonlight too so I feel like I was it was nice for them to. To get it even though it was awkward I think for the whole cast ball and I get on that and when it's an amazing movie see it if you haven't I'd definitely Amazingly I've not seen all la la land I think I'm the only person when I was a few people that. I mean I'm the only one here who's seen it out of the 4 of I've seen oh crap Ok never mind what it was you know I mean you know I mean like I want to be moonlight would you guys like Law and I love Law and the whole soundtrack and it's like probably one of my favorite movie soundtracks of the 6 trimly different from was being put in the movie industry I think that's why I just did so well and it's not that it's like a crazy. And everything I mean that is like what makes it interesting and that's a different musical like look like musicals like when you think of musicals like yeah like are no friends to musicals but like they don't like capture like my attention like they're kind of boring to me and they're not anything they're all the kind of like the same like they're breaking out in song about random things like this movie I think a story tells is just really unique like you were saying it's more about law it was more about like a motion like in that time. You know they did a really good job of doing a song that fit the emotion of the plot instead of just like you know I mean you have just what this interest you have it just breaks out in a song and dance you're like Ok why I guess that's what makes it a musical but. It was just like oh like like you kind of rode the emotions like the scene in dancer or whatever was going on and that's why it was more more interesting for people and it's just different because I haven't seen a movie like that and a long time. Moonlight was also a very different movie it was a groundbreaking groundbreaking film featuring a predominantly black cast addressing issues that sort of get rejected today in American society that many people seem to be facing what is it could use like summarize I know you've even seen you there David do you want to like summarize it for us because I haven't liked not only giving you the way I just don't know what it's about so moonlight is about about a kid who's growing up in Miami and it's mostly about him kind of finding himself so he has a mother who is addicted to drugs and he kind of has to go on his own and he has to kind of face the fact that you know he's gay and just facing the fact the of his upbringing and how and how on the need to like trying to get his life together because he could not get involved in crime so it sort of described it's a very interesting movie but it was described in one sentence it's about this guy's life and what happens and it's just really it's one of those kind of movies where you see every child you see him get older and it's super interesting throughout So there's a song theaters it is you can go see it in theaters and as I did right you know right where near this to see something country it's still so if you showings of it but I did not think I was going to win best picture I was hoping for it but I mean I honestly did not ever believe that a lot of wind was going to win so I was surprised like everyone else was well so does my 3 just one last thing I like winning this year was sort of a transition from last year's like Oscars so why sort of I do. Like we like you like people. Do with Viola Davis is when you know that you know. I lost but the name was offensive and it was for Ok but I don't remember like the title of her oh I just I didn't know the movie but yeah so yes she won best supporting actress. I think it seems that could use running backs. I think it seems that they could both fit Well I think that Cheyenne's are probably at the top of that list and here's a reason why the China it's if they have a running back even if like you get Peterson or Charles and have Paul Perkins just basically as a color running back in that often it's with a Dell back I'm Sterling Shepard with Eli Manning with the line they have just pretty decent and the great defense you're going to put them up with the other teams in the n.f.c. There were all those reports at the end of the season about him the team possibly moving on from him and my dark horse candidate to make a move for a quarterback whether it's trying to trade for Kirk Cousins or Jimmy drop below or trying to sign Tony Romo or even maybe going after someone in the draft is the Kansas City Chiefs I think they've gone a couple years now with Alex Smith and they haven't had much to show for it and I think that defenses defense and that running game is Super Bowl ready they have some great weapons and Maclin in Kelsey I think if they got a legit quarterback that they could make a very strong I agree with you I just don't think. I have a feeling that they're not going to move on from Alex Smith any time soon and that's just my feeling I agree that they should but I don't think it will happen any time I think what they should do is try to get someone in the draft and. I'm going to start with you Sky who do you think has earned will earn and be a Rookie of the year well if Joe Well I'm be I got basically 2 answers just because if Joel Embiid does play like a few games you know before the season ends then I will still give it to him but if he doesn't if he does not play the rest of the year I personally can't give him the rookie of the year just because I feel like he he would have missed too many games so my 2nd option if he does not play the rest of the year would be Malcolm Brock to him because I feel like he 1st off he's been a sleeper leg I believe he was a 2nd round pick and he's actually one of the few players in the league that has actually had a triple double this season as a rookie and you know now this doesn't really jump off the page you know 9 points almost 5 assists but they're still better than most you know everybody else there then you know Joel Embiid in which I'm sure somebody will talk about it also but I feel like he's actually been very good for the Milwaukee Bucks the Milwaukee Bucks have been a little bit disappointing at times but you know to be fair they've lost a bar Parker but you know that would be prime my 2nd option Yeah no I totally agree with you and you were talking about Darren Sarge will be with them beat out I mean obviously he would be the m.b. Would be the clear front runner with the numbers he was putting up this season before he got hurt but with him out it's going to come down to broaden or sorry I mean Sarge is been playing great since. It's been out he's been on a run of you know high teens mid twenty's scoring for the Sixers but I mean for me it's got to be broad and I mean if you look at his per 36 minute numbers which would you know boosting is per game numbers up to like if you were playing starters minutes he's averaging almost 14 points a game 6 assists for. Rebounds steel and a half and he's shooting 42 percent from 3 that's that's the stats pretty good South Yeah I mean that's you know among the league's best not just Rockies just shooters in general I mean obviously he has a lower volume than guys like Steph Curry and Kevin direct but. You know he's been shooting the lights out for Milwaukee and he's a great defensive player as well on the perimeter and I think you only get better I'm going to give you guys the the different case you guys in mentioned are search I want him the win the rookie year for Joe Allen beat Joel Embiid Yes he's earned he's earned it in the games he's played but he only playing $31.00 games at 1st he was not playing back to backs because of the threat of you know his foot because he missed 2 years with fun injuries and. You know then the knee injury came out and then they start saying it's gotten worse so they may not play him at all the rest of the season I mean and the thing is he makes the Sixers entertaining to watch and he's going to make them entertaining watch for years to come as will Bensimon says not playing at all this season and it's a shame what happened to him with his injury and you know I actually went through a similar injury this past summer I could you know I think this is the only time Maclin can compare himself. Well I know he'll be so harsh a while besides the fact that we entered college the same. Injured in the same few months span while I was fully healed by the time he got hurt but listen to the Sixers are just they're going to be fun to watch in a year or 2 and I think Doris arch is going to be part of it he's gotten better since and beats out he's got a lot better since. I just look at it in their numbers are very similar you look at all of the advanced metrics on defense and you know they're both in like the top 3 top 5 in pretty much every category. But for me I got to go with Tre mind I mean this is a guy that he's he's the leader of the warriors who are the least the defensive leader of the warriors who are 2nd in points allowed per 100 possessions their 1st in opponent field goal percentage 1st in opponent 3 point percentage 1st an opponent effective field goal percentage I mean Andrei Mond is awesome this year is 252025th in rebounding per game 1st in steals per game 14th in blocks and then you look at his advanced metrics and it's just crazy 3rd in defensive rating pr 100 possessions 3rd in defensive when shares and 1st in defensive plus minus I mean this guy is everywhere and he's really the defensive anchor of what I think is the best you know possession for possession defensive team in the n.b.a.
