The Red Apple Fire has consumed at least 1,000 acres near Wenatchee in Chelan County as of Wednesday morning (July 13). It’s still burning roughly 14,000 acres but yesterday the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reduced the evacuation levels for all residents effected to Level 1.
