New program targets Louisiana’s rural small businesses Louisiana has launched a program to help grow small businesses in rural areas. The LED Rural Entrepreneurship Initiative launched this week via a partnership of Louisiana Economic Development and the Michigan-based Edward Lowe Foundation. Twelve companies that are considered “second-stage” are participating, according to a news release from LED.
