California Secretary of Agriculture Karen Ross visited Solano County Thursday to discuss California Forever, Farm to School programs and housing for farm workers. Ross spoke at a town hall along with state Sen. Melissa Hurtado (District 16) and Assemblymember Lori Wilson (District 11) in an event hosted By the California Association of Family Farms, the Solano County Farm Bureau, Wilson and the Pleasants Valley Agricultural Association at Pleasants Valley Estates Winery.
