Hudson Reporter Bayonne to rename street after Edith Ferrell She served the community in myriad ways and was a champion for veterans × Edith Ferrell and Mayor James Davis The Bayonne City Council has moved to rename West 19th Street for the late Edith Ferrell at its council caucus meeting on Feb. 10. The council will likely vote to adopt the resolution at its Feb. 17 meeting. The resolution will rename the portion of the street between Broadway and Avenue C as Edith Ferrell Way. The Flournoy Gethers VFW Post #7470 is on that part of the street, where Ferrell was Auxiliary President. Her contributions to the city are being honored. ....
