The H-E-B School of Business and Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word is offering free tax preparation service through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program or VITA.
San Antonio, TX (January 17, 2024) – The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, dedicated to providing complimentary tax preparation services to Bexar
46% of all residents in Bexar County are experiencing financial hardship, according to United Way of San Antonio.
"It's not just about one organization. It's about the community linking arms, making sure that we're taking care of the most vulnerable," said Pamela Allen.
The city and Bexar County will operate these warming centers for residents to use as freezing weather approaches South Texas.
