BBC Introducing Live will make its debut in Northern Ireland this October, introducing Belfast audiences to an evening of special performances from homegrown rising stars Jordan Adetunji, Lucy Gaffney, Reevah, and Cbakl.
It comes three months after the corporation proposed plans for local radio stations to share more content and broadcast less programming.
Plans confirmed by the BBC include local stations sharing content and broadcasting less programming unique to their areas.
The country is competing in December for the first time in 17 years.
