Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital donated an unused office building to Beacon Charitable Pharmacy
From Crain's Akron Business: Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, which provides low-cost prescription medication assistance to uninsured and underinsured residents of Stark and Carroll counties, plans to spend more than $1 million to renovate the building. The new space will allow the nonprofit to expand its services.
Canton, Ohio-based Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital has donated a 5,800-square-foot medical office building to Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, a group providing low-cost prescription medication to the community.
The law, set to go into effect April 6, will allow charitable pharmacies to accept prescription drug donations from individuals.
