The Kern County coroner’s office identified a Lamont man who died in a collision involving a Kern High School District bus filled with football players headed to a game.
The bus was carrying football players from Golden Valley High School to the game scheduled between the Bulldogs and the Blades of East Bakersfield High. That game has been canceled.
