Father-of-five Jozef Puska also decided to kill himself as the successful prosecution case against him closed but he was thwarted by prison officers, it can be reported for the first time today.
Puska, 33, was on benefits and lived in a five-bedroom council house in Mucklagh, County Offaly, with his wife and five children, until he carried out the heinous crime in January 2022.
Jozef Puska’s legal team fought long and hard for his hospital confession to be excluded from the evidence presented to the jury.
