Ocala Center movie theater operator sued in rent dispute
The owner of a shopping center is suing an Ocala movie theater operator and accusing it of not paying the rent. In the lawsuit, Marion S.C. Company LTD., states that Delray Square Cinemas Inc., owner of the cinema at 2021 E. Silver Springs Blvd., owes $104,799.75 through March. The lawsuit contents Delray Square Cinemas was served with a "notice to pay rent or deliver possession, but tenant refuses to do either."
