Newly listed property asking prices edged upwards by an average of £1,950 this month, says Rightmove - but many sellers are reducing the price later as they struggle to sell.
Across Britain, average new seller asking prices rose by 0.5%, but the long-term average increase for the month of October is 1.4%, Rightmove said.
