Judge rejects defense's call for mistrial in murder case following doctor's emotional testimony
LOWELL — On Day 3 of the trial for alleged murderer Santos Lebron De Los Santos on Tuesday, the defense unsuccessfully moved for a mistrial in response to an emergency doctor who became visibly emotional on the witness stand while testifying about his encounter with De Los Santos' alleged victim and wife, Celeste Marte-Lebron.
