The meeting was held virtually after three supervisors said they received death threats. COVID-19 concerns also factored into closing the chambers.
Supervisors Mary Rickert, Joe Chimenti, and Leonard Moty voted against sending the letter. While Supervisors Les Baugh and Patrick Jones were in favor of it.
