Cheryl Jan Bounous Cheryl Jan (Harris) Bounous was born October 7th, 1954 in Gordon, Nebraska to Gerald Wayne Harris and Bernice Eldeen (Diffendaffer) Harris. She was the third of three children born to this blessed union. Cheryl was a proud farmer’s daughter who enjoyed helping her father on the family farm/ranch near Denby, South Dakota. She was brought up to appreciate the value of hard work and family. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings and cousins. This is something that would continue all throughout her life.
