Sat, 12/12/2020 - 5:00am Billy Paul Wright was born on April 26, 1937, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and passed away on December 7, 2020, in Greenville Texas. His parents were John and Bessie Wright. Billy grew up and lived most of his life in Mt. Pleasant. He attended Paris Jr College and became a surveyor with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a surveyor for over fifty years with his brother J.T. Wright at Wright Brothers Surveying. He worked with Tyler Jr College surveyor students, and was famous for his annual fish frys.
