This isn't probably a surprise if you think about everything that has gone up in price over the course of the past year, but chocolate has gone WAY up as well.

It's never good when you see a local business close their doors.  It hurts even more when it's one of your favorites. The note was there on the locked door.  It just says "Thank you Elmwood for your years of love and support."  According to WKBW, Fowler's is closing their Elmwood location at 746 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo. The good news is that it looks like it's just that one location and that they're hoping to make renovations and improvements to some of the other stores.  They still have locations in Cheektowaga, East Aurora, Hamburg and Tonawanda that are still in normal operation.
