The Razorbacks had a strong showing in today’s NCAA Championship action. The day began with Bella Cothern and Betsy Wizard swimming the 100 Fly. Both had stellar swims with Wizzard shattering her previous personal best by 0.32 seconds, finishing in 52.70. Bella Cothern posted a time of 52.62, coming very close to her own personal best at 52.52.
Following day four of SEC Championship action, the Razorbacks stand in 11th with a score of 260. The Razorbacks set themselves up to earn points in the evening coming off a solid string of prelim performances.
Cothern and Martinez Shine in Day 3 Finals
At the end of day one of the SEC Championships, the Razorbacks have a score of 56 coming off of a solid performance by Malea Martinez on the springboard and a good showing in the 800 freestyle relay.
The Florida women have only gotten better since they won their first SEC title since 2009 last season, making them heavy favorites for the 2024 SEC crown.
