Support for the Victorian ALP plunged to 53% (down 8.5% points since late May) compared to the L-NP Coalition on 47% (up 8.5% points) on a two-party preferred basis, following Premier Andrews’ decision to cancel the 2026 Commonwealth Games according to a Roy Morgan Snap SMS Poll conducted from July 19-20, 2023, with a cross-section of 1,046 Victorian electors aged 18+.

A special Roy Morgan SMS Poll on State voting intention in New South Wales shows the ALP on 53.5% (up 1% point since late February) ahead of the Liberal-National Coalition on 46.5% (down 1% point) in mid-March only weeks out from the State Election.

The ALP on 60.5% (up 1% point from early July) has increased its election-winning lead in Victoria over the L-NP on 39.5% (down 1% point) on a two-party preferred basis, according to a special Roy Morgan Snap SMS Poll conducted from Thursday August 11 – Saturday August 13, 2022.

The ALP on 59.5% has a large election-winning lead in Victoria well ahead of the L-NP on 40.5% on a two-party preferred basis, unchanged from November 2021, according to a special Roy Morgan Snap SMS Poll conducted from Thursday June 30 – Saturday July 2, 2022.
