The wildfire evacuation order was lifted at 8 a.m. on May 10 for the hamlet of Evansburg and the rural areas east, north and south of Wildwood, Alta.
Some people who live in Evansburg, Entwistle and Parkland County west of Highway 22 were allowed to return home Tuesday at noon after being forced out by a wildfire on the weekend.
A change in fire direction Monday afternoon meant one of the communities that was hosting Parkland County wildfire evacuees over the weekend needed to evacuate, too.
