Community Foundation Grey Bruce and Georgian College have partnered to disperse over $341,000 to the groups through the Government of Canada’s Investment Readiness Program, through Community Foundations of Canada. Eat Local Grey Bruce in Owen Sound was awarded $45,000 to formalize policies and procedures, complete full financial assessments and perform strategic planning for sustainable growth. $38,634 will go to fund the Launch Pad Youth Activity and Technology Centre in Hanover, for a feasibility study & business plan to operate an ice cream truck as employment training for youth. ....
