Bass begin to show up in the surf, and bluefish join the bite in back bays; tautog season is coming to a close, but fluke season is opening!
Tautog fishing improves, striped bass begin to move into the surf, and winter flounder fishing remains futile.
Anglers are getting fish up to 40 inches from boats and Bayshore beaches, and everything from bloodworms to plugs seem to be working.
