Watching an exhibition match confirms her interest and, boarding a Bingo Bus, she makes her way to the try-outs. Although she lacks physical presence, compared with some of the other women, her speed catches the eye of Hurl Scouts coach Razor (Andrew Wilson), who offers her a place on the team. Bliss is welcomed to the tribe with open arms, but that may be because the Scouts are perennial cellar- dwellers, more interested in the after-match parties, than following Razor's coaching playbook.
