"A review of printable, flexible and tissue equivalent materials for io" by Jessie A. Posar, Marco Petasecca et al.

Advances in flexible and printable electronics have paved the way for large-area, and low-cost wearable electronics that will revolutionize the way we detect and monitor ionizing radiation. The improvements to early detection and widespread use of treatment procedures of tumors and other illnesses using ionizing radiation have led to the rapid increase in the yearly dose exposure to the public. Therefore, safety organizations must introduce stricter quality assurance measures to ensure the safe delivery of the total dose to the patient - only achievable using live monitoring systems, named in-...

"All-polymer wearable thermoelectrochemical cells harvesting body heat" by Shuai Zhang, Yuetong Zhou et al. - Vimarsana News

"All-polymer wearable thermoelectrochemical cells harvesting body heat" by Shuai Zhang, Yuetong Zhou et al.

Wearable thermoelectrochemical cells have attracted increasing interest due to their ability to turn human body heat into electricity. Here, we have fabricated a flexible, cost-effective, and 3D porous all-polymer electrode on an electrical conductive polymer substrate via a simple 3D printing method. Owing to the high degree of electrolyte penetration into the 3D porous electrode materials for redox reactions, the all-polymer based porous 3D electrodes deliver an increased power output of more than twice that of the film electrodes under the same mass loading using either n-type or p-type gel...
