Tonight, the Blairsville Community Development Authority and the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development will hold the final virtual meeting to gather input on the fate of a vacant lot at the former site of the Murphy Building in Blairsville.
Several virtual meetings have been held over the last few months to talk about the future of the lot. For the next seven years, the lot has to sit as a green space due to a requirement from some of the money used to tear down the building. Molly Sarver with the Office of Planning and Development said that a lot of those who have submitted comment want the property to remain a green space.
Another meeting has been scheduled for next week to discuss the future of the former Murphy lot in Blairsville. The meeting will be held on Zoom video.
