SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Lake Tahoe Basin and surrounding area from December 8 at 4:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. on December 9. WHAT...Heavy snow is possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 10 inches, except 8 to 13 inches above 7000 feet possible.
