Rezonings approved for former mill, housing project and apartments
Rezoning requests that could lead to the redevelopment of the former Union Bleachery mill, a residential development on New Easley Highway and the conversion of an extended-stay hotel into apartments received final approval Tuesday night from the Greenville County Commission. The rezoning of 238 acres around the old Bleachery Mill near the Sans Souci area northwest of downtown Greenville was sought by a Florida-based developer Dean Warhaft.
