Henderson County News: LIGHTNING PHOTOS: Day of Thanks means three meals, treats for first responders
Henderson County (Oct 4, 2023) - Volunteers came together at the Henderson County Emergency Services Center Wednesday to honor first responders with free breakfast, lunch and dinner and thank them — as a proclamation said — for racing "at a moment's notice to keep our streets safe, rush into burning buildings, provide life-saving emergency care" as they devoted a "life of service and sacrifice" to their community.
