BlueFloat Energy said it plans to build seven offshore wind farms totalling 5.2 gigawatts in Colombia
As the Colombian Government launched the country's Offshore Wind Roadmap on 3 May, BlueFloat Energy revealed it has seven offshore wind projects under development in Colombia. This is just half of what the company plans in South America since there are also seven projects the Spanish developer is planning offshore Brazil.
Colombia's President Iván Duque and Minister of Mining and Energy, Diego Mesa, launched the country's Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap on 3 May at an event in the city of Barranquilla, whose waters will become the home of the first offshore wind farm in Colombia.
