WFAE Hough High in Cornelius had 425 of its 2,500 students choose Full Remote Academy first semester. For second semester more than 1,100 have opted out of in-person classes. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeing an increase in students opting out of in-person classes for the second semester, especially in several large high schools.
