Incarceration. Drug court, the sisters program, probation officers, judges, and others refer women to safe house. These women are traumatized. Many are suffering from mental illness, and especially from ptsd. Some are pregnant. They are young. They are old. They do not need to be in jail. We have a comprehensive program and mental, physical, and dental care, education, group therapy, money management, computer training, job internshipses and more.
