Virginia 911 task force to address emergency call routing deficiencies
A workgroup aimed at addressing the deficiencies with emergency 911 call routing in Virginia is underway following the deaths of teenager Fitz Thomas of Loudoun County and Bob Herzing of Brunswick County, which borders North Carolina. The initiative is intended to address 911 calls being redirected to jurisdictions in bordering states instead of emergency operations centers inside Virginia. Dels.
