John Carroll University selects new president John Carroll University will have a new leader next month. University president Michael D. Johnson on June 1 will be succeeded by JCU's executive vice president, Alan Miciak, officials said in a release issued Monday, May 3. Miciak, also the former dean of the Boler College of Business, will become the university's 26th president.
